The Members area of this site provides a wealth of info, contacts and references, coming together as a specific 'uk national' suppliment to White Wolf's Brujah Clanbook, and the Camarilla Chronicle.

It's Strongly Advised that all Brujah players get a copy of the actual Clanbook, to get a fuller picture of what the Clan is all about. (Costs about £9 new)

To begin with ... Why play a Brujah?
Why play a Brujah? For the fiery passion in their Cause, conflicts, rage, steadfast Brotherhood? They are the Clan of Change, and in modern nights more often than not, they are the rebels with a Cause. Their combinations of temperaments and ideas make them perhaps one of the most individualistic Clans that there is. The Brujah offer players a chance to be both outspoken and turbulent, while giving them a chance to show passion and devotion to a Cause. This passion is both their strength and their weakness.

Inherent in all Brujah is the desire to alter the world they live in. This can take on almost any guise; instinctive or meticulously planned, psychological, social, political even geographical. Change is the fire that burns inside them, it is their Cause and reason. While it does seem that there are some general unified Causes (such as typically trying to topple the oppressive powers structures of the Ventrue, or seeking to recreate the Olympian / Carthaginian ideal in some way), it is very rare for any number of Brujah to agree on methods or specifics involved.

Most players will assume that playing a Brujah is very simple, based off the assumption that all one has to do to be Brujah, is rebel. While this is a perfectly valid modern aspect of the Clan (which can definitly lead to a great number of challenging and enjoyable concepts) there is a lot more to the Brujah than mere rebellion. While their passion comes from driving their Causes, the violence most often arises from those who would oppose their chosen way.

To be a Brujah then, is to be a creature of vigor and passion, fighting the lethargy and stagnation of the mortal and Kindred societies around them. A Brujah player’s true challenge comes with learning how to temper strength, passion and wisdom to further their Cause.

Just before you go ...
This guide is in no way meant to enforce any creative limits on you as a player, it is instead intended to reveal the nature and tone of the Clan as it stands currently and historically. You may immediately wish to dismiss all references and information given, wanting your character to ‘truly rebel’ against the grain. We just ask that you have a good read through, even if just as an ooc reference to give yourself a sense of the Clan around your character.

Live fast, die young. Brujah are often the butt of a Harpy or Prince’s wrath, they are usually pushed to the front line or take themselves confidently on the most foolhardy of missions. Such physical power for those new to the blood often creates a feeling of invunerability. Frequently such new bloods will fall victim to their own Elders, who can see it as their duty to cull those foolish neonates they consider a liability to their Clan, and thus their own plans. Still, while you are free to interpret in your own way, remember that we all make up the atmosphere of the game, and if we ignore the unique aspects of the modern and ancient Brujah, other Kindred and their conflicts, there is no story. The World of Darkness runs on conflict, and the Brujah like to lead that race.
